CD9A: Count and Measure
(13 Songs from Book 9)
- Grades Pre-K to 3
Price: $15.95

Principal Bill can tell that his teacher, Ms. Gertrude, really loves to sing. She knows a math song about almost anything he can think of: money, length, counting, the seasons, and even liquid measurement. In fact, when you listen to CD9A, you may get wet. You'd better have a towel handy when you give the hippopotamus a bath. These 13 songs with lyrics and dialogue are followed by the instrumental version of each song. All the songs on this CD are in Book 9: I Love Math Songs

1. M - I Love It
2. One Cup of Water
3. I Have 16 Cups
4. Here's a Dime
5. A Quarter is 25 Cents
6. God Rest the Teen's
7. Jolly Old Twenty's
8. How Long is a Foot?
9. Count the Bones
10. Seasons
11. Exercise Signs
12. Volume Goes Up to the Top
13. Rub-a-Dub Your Hippo

The instructions given in the MATH NOTES Books say to make an overhead copy of each song and have students sing the lyrics without any accompaniment. The songs on the CD are meant only as a teacher's aide to help teachers learn the tunes. However, younger children will enjoy listening and singing along with this CD.
